As a child, she spent her days with her father testing water hardness and running simple tasks in the office. She was just 5 years old when she started, helping him count drops for water tests. By the time she was 15, Emily was confidently leading water presentations door-to-door in Killeen, Texas.

Despite her early immersion in the business, Emily took a detour after high school. She pursued a master’s degree in special education, dedicating 15 years of her life to teaching children with special needs. No matter where life took her, the pull of her family’s business was always there. 

When she returned to the water industry, she brought her deep passion for learning, leadership, and family with her. Today, she leads her own dealership, continuing the legacy of providing clean, safe water while ensuring the next generation is just as committed as she is.

As a member of the Water Quality Association’s Business Operations Training Committee, she shapes the future of the industry, helping other businesses navigate the complexities of water management.

Proper Sizing for Point of Entry Water Treatment Equipment Installation.” In the piece, Emily emphasizes the importance of properly sizing water treatment systems to meet a home’s maximum water demand, comply with plumbing codes, and ensure appliances receive adequate flow and pressure. She explains that even systems tested to NSF standards must be evaluated in the context of a home’s fixtures and drain connections to guarantee full compliance and optimal performance.
